Strengthening WHO EURO Social Media Capacity

We’re pleased to have been asked by WHO EURO to build the capacity of their technical health experts in using social media in their work.    The task includes, in addition to skills training, setting the foundations for a new organizational strategy.   We are also working on a “vision paper”, ie what could WHO and its [...]

Mama Mentor

The Mama: Together for Safe Births community of practice was launched a few months back by Women’s Refugee Commission (see below post), and we’ve continued to provide support to WRC and the health practitioners who have joined the Facebook community.  One of the latest tools is a refined Mama Mentors application, through which doctors and [...]

Advocacy on behalf of Dalit populations in Nepal

M4ID has been chosen as the partner for a new social media driven advocacy campaign aimed at pressing for improved rights and opportunities for Dalit populations in Nepal.  The campaign will be launched in September, and we’re very pleased to be able to contribute to such an important, yet neglected cause.
